🏴 Vibecheck: Writing is a barometer for my mental health. I feel better when words are flowing. If I stop publishing for a month or more, check in on me, I’m probably stressed out! I have some bangers coming out in the next few weeks, excited to share more with you all. For now, we begin our 10-day Radical Redesign experience Friday. 🐦🔥 EB.
I learn fast. If I get hands-on experience with a clear blueprint, I’m set…
I’ve taught myself nearly everything I know. 90% of what I do and who I am I never learned in school. I just find a blueprint, drill it, and naturalize it.
Blueprints—architectural diagrams of the structures and steps—are invaluable resources.
Creating ‘cultural blueprints’ has been part of the Phoenix Culture DNA since its inception.
Design, create, and release blueprints for human flourishing, collective intelligence, and regenerative culture.
We’re releasing our first blueprint into the world this month: Radical Redesign.
A step-by-step blueprint and experiential container. Providing the toolkits and frameworks necessary to radically redesign your life and become the person you want to be.
Information wants to be free. Below I’m sharing the exact model we built. If you want to run with them and DIY it, be my guest. If you want real accountability, fierce motivation, immaculate container design, and the potent companion activities we’ve crafted, I invite you to join us on the experience live. It begins tomorrow (Friday).
1. Address the Top Regrets of the Dying
If you’re stuck on a problem, it helps to imagine the end goal and work backwards.
Most people want a meaningful life—to have a life well-lived.
Fortunately, humanity knows the top regrets of the dying. Working backwards, design a life in the present that is oriented around the behaviours that avoid these:
I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
I wish I hadn't worked so hard.
I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
I wish that I had let myself be happier.
It’s remarkable how profoundly this rearranges your priorities. That’s why it’s Day 1: Get Your Priorities Straight.
2. Solidify a Personal Value Structure
Success is never guaranteed. The path forward is never clear. You need a compass, a way to cut through complexity and take the next aligned step.
While ‘personal values’ sound fluffy, they are the greatest compass you have. So long as you act in alignment with your values, you will:
Always have a next step.
Always achieve your goal: ‘Live in alignment with my values.’
Cultivate self-respect regardless of the outcome.
Personal values are the compass that guides you through the fog of uncertainty. Assess the moments you felt the best, and the worst, in your life, and surface the values that coloured these moments.
3. Unlock an Empowering Vision
If you could have what you want—if you were guaranteed to succeed—what is it you want? What is your ideal future?
Most people never clearly define this (because specificity increases the chance of failure, something we address in later days), and thus never feel like any actions are moving them in the right direction.
“If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will get you there.” — Cheshire Cat, Alice in Wonderland
Crystallize a compelling vision of your future. List out the things you want to have, do, and be, 6-12 months from now.
4. Decorating Life with Ritual
“Art is how we decorate space. Music is how we decorate time. Ritual is how we decorate life.”
Ritual is the complementary half of a compelling vision. It’s no use being lost and focused on the future if you never appreciate the present moments that get you there.
Rituals take care of both of these. They help you focus on moving toward your vision while bringing meaning, purpose, beauty, and presence to the day-to-day steps along the path.
A ritual elevates routines and habits into moments of significance and personal meaning, becoming non-negotiable practices.
5. Establishing the Strategy & Tactics
While a vision is important, it becomes a burden if you don’t feel like it’s possible. It becomes a reminder of your failure, rather than an inspired calling toward your greatness.
The antidote is to ground your vision in regular, clear actions. Roll up your sleeves and get specific about the strategy, tactics, milestones, and execution for what you’re going to do to move toward your vision.
This is the less exciting—but no less important—part of simply doing the work, chopping wood and carrying water, in service of your vision.
Break it down into milestones, goals, and daily actions, then get to work. One day, one step, one action at a time.
6. Holistic Life Foundations
“It does not matter how slow you go, so long as you do not stop.”
Life is a marathon with a series of sprints. The essence is never yielding. 90% of success is perseverance.
The greatest lever to increasing your endurance is getting your shit together at a radically deeper level.
Take an inventory of your health, wealth, relationships, and emotions, then sort them out. Strong foundations are essential to building masterpieces. It’s very easy to overlook the basics of life in pursuit of just ‘manifesting the quantum 5D vibrational heaven already here’.
While your vision is important, you’ll cripple yourself if your foundations aren’t in place; you won’t have the resiliency nor the stamina needed to make it happen.
Sleep, nutrition, exercise, relationships, spiritual practice, income, debts, rest/recovery, beauty, play, meaningful work, service, contribution.
7. Reframe Limiting Beliefs
Most people lose the game before it begins. They just don’t know it.
Most people, in a momentary fit of inspiration, set a vision for the future that is far beyond the glass ceiling of a core limiting belief.
Once the rubber hits the road, they stall out and sabotage themselves because the limiting belief prevents them from going any further.
Resolving this is crucial. We address the ‘Core 4’ limiting beliefs:
I don’t have enough resources (time, money, network, etc.)
I’m not capable of it.
I’m not worthy of it.
I’m not allowed to/it’s not safe.
Most people experience some variation of this. If you don’t address these, eventually you’ll trip yourself up and wonder why this pattern keeps happening.
Find the inspiring opposite, and treat it like a mantra. Pair it with evidence to the contrary until you normalize it.
8. Sealing Energetic Leaks
Trying to fill a bucket that has one or more leaks is an absurd undertaking.
It is preposterous how many of us piss away our vital life force in situations exactly like this.
Sealing energetic leaks is imperative. It reclaims a wellspring of vital energy that gives you the inspiration, stamina, resilience, and passion needed to execute the strategy you’ve created, overcome inevitable obstacles, and dream the impossible dream required to break through core limiting beliefs.
Porn, social media, junk food, toxic relationships, addictions, negative self-talk, rumination, distraction, unhealed trauma, sedentary lifestyle, over/under sleeping, arguing, judgement, passivity, over-exertion.
Seal these with vigour and reclaim your life force. You’ll need it where you’re going.
9. Mastering Attention & Concentration
You won’t go anywhere if you can only concentrate for 30 seconds at a time.
If you’re constantly pulled away by the next Current Thing and Shiny Object, the game is done. You’ll run the Red Queen’s Race, going faster and faster while making less and less progress.
Cultivate your attention by developing the skill of concentration while simultaneously removing distractions (particularly digital technology and unnecessary commitments) that don’t serve your vision.
10. Inviting Sacred Space
Never underestimate the power of your environment to cripple or catapult your progress.
Creating sacred space enables the deep transformations of mind, life, and body needed to evolve.
Clean up your home, create a sacred space, add beauty and nature, change the design to move stagnant energy and remind your mind/body that change is happening and you can see it.
Bringing It All Together
What do you have by the end of this?
Confidence in your life path because you’ve addressed the most common regrets of the dying.
A vision for yourself that is compelling and inspiring.
A personal code of ethics and a comprehensive game plan to move forward.
Meaningful rituals and sturdy life foundations help renew energy and keep you focused.
Newfound unlimiting beliefs and a reservoir of vital energy from sealing energetic leaks.
The ability, concentration, resiliency, and stamina needed to stay in the game and make consistent progress.
A sanctuary of sacred space that supports and enables your progress.
Equipped with this and the power of consistent effort, you will be shocked by what you can do—and who you can become—in a few months, let alone a few years.
This is the Radical Redesign Blueprint.
And while information is helpful, it’s never enough.
The real keys are accountability, inspiration, support, momentum, and commitment.
If you want the accountability needed to do this; if you need the specific, paradigm-shifting activities for each of these stages; if you know the unbelievable transformational power of clear intention, collective work, and sacred containers, we are running people through a Live, 10-day Experience of this blueprint.
It’s $25 (20% off if you pay in Bitcoin). We begin Friday.
We’ll have several hours of expertly guided calls from me and the Phoenix Culture team along the way.
Come and seriously play the game of radical redesign with us.
I hope to see you there, EB. ⛩️
